This year has been a difficult year for flying at the field, with the amount of rain during the winter months months and the changeable weather, the fieldhas been wet and the warm weather in the winter has made the grass grow quicker. Well done to Mark H for keeping the grass cut when he was able. Even now (the beginning of August) the weather can't make up its mind, one day its hot the next day its raining. Some members took advantage of the trip to the Ringmer Gliding Club in May, and it was a lovely spring evening and the weather was on our side for a change. I videoed my flight, so I will put a copy in the photo gallery.

BMFA Have just released the fees for 2025.
The only increease is the Senior membership - it has increased by £2 to £49
They have also reduced the credit card style card to £4 and now access to BMDFA RFewards is FREE!
