Our Mission
To Promote the safe flying of all model types
We fly on the site of Bultherhythe Recreation Ground, in the field behind the row of trees.
During the winter months whe have a bi-monthly meeting at the Pebsham Community Hub in Seabourne road, where members usually fly small planes drones and helicopters. Refreshments are provided during the evening.
The BMFA Safety Review Committee have issued the following summary of incident reports for the period October 2025 to April 2026.
As you will see the numbers are relatively low but please bear in mind this was over the winter period.
As we hopefully get more flying in if we get better weather, it may be worth looking at the recommendations in the document to prevent further incident reports.
